DYPA Apprenticeship EPAS & ΙΕΚ: A New Era – “Training for the businesses of tomorrow”
A New Era for DYPA’s VET system was presented during a special event aimed at providing information about current youth upskilling initiatives through the reinforcement of DYPA’s Apprenticeship Vocational Schools (EPAS) and ΙΕΚ, as well as the newly established Apprenticeship Experimental Vocational Schools (PEPAS).
Detailed information was also presented about DYPA’s collaborations with public and private organizations, as well as businesses particularly distinguished in their respective sectors, so that the EPAS fields of study / specialties and curricula can be enriched and adapted to the requirements of the labour market, thus ensuring quality jobs for their graduates.
Moreover, special emphasis was placed on the new Apprenticeship Experimental Vocational Schools (PEPAS), which were established within the context of DYPA’s response to the currently increased demand for fields of study / specialties in the Food & Beverage and Hospitality sectors, as well as the recent decision to increase the remuneration of DYPA EPAS and PEPAS students.
Finally, the innovative AppInterN digital platform was presented. The platform aims at bringing closer together DYPA EPAS and IEK students/graduates and businesses that seek appropriately skilled staff.
